Happy Birthday to Me!
As I sit here sipping my golden latte, I'm filled with gratitude and reflection. Another year has passed, and I'm excited to share some of the lessons I've learned along the way.
I must admit, I've never been one for grand birthday plans. This year, I decided to keep things simple and stick to my morning routine. But what made my day truly special was the love and well-wishes from my girlfriend and, of course, the self-love letter I wrote to myself.
As I look back on the past year, I'm reminded that life is precious, and every moment counts. My near-death experience taught me to be more present and intentional with my time.
In celebration of my special day, I want to share 29 lessons I've learned so far. From embracing my authenticity to prioritizing self-care, these lessons have helped me grow and thrive.
Here they are:
1. Be yourself; the world will adjust.
2. Find joy in the little things.
3. Take care of yourself.
4. Be creative and authentic.
5. Choose your friends wisely.
6. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
7. Apologize when you're wrong.
8. Ask for help when you need it.
9. Your network is your net worth.
10. Invest in yourself.
11. Don't be scared to let go.
12. Actions speak louder than words.
13. Protecting your privacy and energy is important.
14. Natural food isn't the enemy.
15. You're safe and loved, even if you don't believe it.
16. Do the things that light your soul up.
17. Pay attention to your emotions and surroundings.
18. Speak less, listen more.
19. Mistakes make you better.
20. Everything is working in your favor, even if you don't see it yet.
21. Experiment as much as you can.
22. Love is the answer.
23. Good health is the wealth.
24. Good things take time.
25. Singing in the shower doesn't make you childish.
26. Write more.
27. Be intentional with your gifts.
28. Life happens in phases.
29. I'm in charge of my life, and every decision counts.
